Step 2: Decide How Many Nights, When to Go, and What to Prepare
A short getaway does not need much lead time, but a few decisions are worth making before you book.
How many nights: we would suggest building this trip around two or three nights at the resort. That is enough time to settle into the pace without spending a full day of a short trip on transit alone.
When to go: pick the dates that suit your own calendar, then check exact rates and room availability for those dates before you book.
Before you travel: every traveler into Indonesia must submit an arrival card in the All Indonesia app, and it can be done from 72 hours before your arrival date. Do this before you travel, not at the terminal: see the step-by-step All Indonesia App guide for exactly what to enter.
Visa and passport: Singapore citizens get a free 30-day leisure visa on arrival in Batam. Singapore permanent residents travelling on an NRIC can enter without a visa for stays of up to 4 days. Anyone not covered by a free visa can get a Visa on Arrival on the spot. Most Telunas guests only need the 7-day option, and passports need at least 6 months of validity left. Entry rules can change, so confirm current requirements with Indonesia's Directorate General of Immigration before you travel.
On public holidays: build in extra buffer at the ferry terminal: plan to arrive 1 to 1.5 hours before departure on a normal day, or 2 hours early on holidays.
Check-in at Telunas is 2:00pm and check-out is 9:00am (unless otherwise agreed with your host), so plan your ferry booking around both ends of the stay.
Step 3: Plan Your Travel from Singapore
The full trip from the Singapore ferry terminal to your villa is approximately 2.5 hours, and you are not navigating it alone.
Ferry to Batam: book the recommended 10:00am Sindo Ferry departure from Harbourfront Centre Ferry Terminal to Sekupang. Most guests land in Batam by around 10:10am Batam time, which is one hour behind Singapore. Sailing times can change, so check Sindo Ferry's current schedule before you book.
Team-guided terminal transfer: at Sekupang, the Telunas team (wearing blue Telunas polo shirts) meets you and guides you from international arrivals to domestic departures, a short 5-minute walk plus about 20 minutes of terminal transit, and onto the onward boat. Telunas asks guests to reach Sekupang Ferry Terminal by no later than 10:30am. The recommended 10:00am ferry lands by around 10:10am Batam time, ahead of that cutoff.
Onward boat to Telunas: a further boat ride of approximately one hour carries you into the Riau Archipelago and on to the resort, a scenic journey over emerald waters.

Step 5: Plan Romantic Experiences and Activities
Scheduled activities are included when they appear on the resort roster, and your host shares the week's schedule with you on arrival.
On the roster, included: kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing from the jetty, a nature walk, an evening bonfire, and rotating extras such as Island Hopping (a traditional wooden boat tour of the nearby islands) and Mangrove Planting.
